SFERA is a software system that enables communication, coordination and management of emergency events. Based on the information received and in accordance with the action plan, emergency service operators engage the necessary services in the field according to the type and location of the event. The system records data about the event in a single database, which allows all services in the field to be fully informed and to resolve the unwanted event more efficiently.
Different organizations can use the same system and share any set of data needed for mutual coordination, while confidential data remains protected and accessible only to persons with appropriate authorization.
The flexibility of the solution allows for connection to communication systems of other emergency services for more detailed information collection and more efficient management of emergency events.
SFERA is a modular system and offers the possibility of upgrading with additional functionalities according to the needs of the user.
Locating calls from the mobile network: for calls from the mobile network, made from smartphones, the system retrieves the location of the caller via SMS messages using the AML (Advanced Mobile Location) service
The location of the device is determined based on: GPS or A-GPS, location of WiFi networks, etc. The OMA MLP protocol is used to communicate with GMLC (Gateway Mobile Location Centre) servers
Integration with GIS module:
display of events on a spatial map
the system allows displaying the location of the event with data: AML and GMLC location, line owner address
possibility of manually selecting event coordinates and updating the location
display of GMLC location on the map – the area in which the location is located is drawn
possibility of selecting multiple reports and their simultaneous display on a spatial map
simultaneous display of incident locations and positions of resources received through the AVL TETRA system
possibility of defining and displaying points of interest and risk objects
possibility of selecting multiple GIS maps as a background
OMA MLP protocol is used
Video call:
in cases where it is necessary to establish video communication between the caller or field service and the emergency service operator
the system enables the establishment of a video connection without additional technical prerequisites, such as installing applications, etc.
the video call is established by the emergency service operator sending an SMS message with a link to establish a video connection via the SFERA system
The system enables communication with forces in the field using the TETRA system, which includes group calls, listening and communication with a selected group, individual calls and short messages (SDS), as well as displaying the signal location.
Receiving an eCall
the system enables the reception of eCalls from the vehicle in the event of a serious accident (eCall – an electronic vehicle safety system that automatically calls emergency services)
the system decodes data in the call such as direction and speed, VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the vehicle, etc. and displays them to the operator alphanumerically and on a GIS map
